How to apply

In order to be eligible, clinics must demosntrate research credibility and commitment. Research credibility may be demonstrated by one or more of the following:

  • Current, active participation of Principal, Partner/s and/or Associate/s in a structured research programme, title and outline to be provided;
  • Provision of details of research related articles published by Principal, Partner/s and/or Associate/s;
  • Provision of research related presentations given either by the Principal, Partner/s and/or Associate/s;
  • Research results/reports/papers published on the research area of the College website (this opportunity to demonstrate research credibility is not yet available).

Commitment is to be demonstrated by the following:

  • The participating clinics must make themselves available for data provision/collection, etc. for chiropractic undergraduates for a designated period, and
  • either a relevant research paper is to be published in Clinical chiropractic or other equivalent peer-reviewed journal each year, or
  • an update of ongoing research-related activity (see credibility criteria) is to be submitted to the Research Division on an annual basis.

Qualifying clinics are allowed to publicise their designation (a letterhead logo and certificate/plaque are provided) which is renewable annually. Accredited Research Clinics have access to a network of researchers and have opportunities to participate in College research forums.
